THE LITTLE THINGS

+ the big feelings

From chic downtown elopements to boho desert nuptials, my couples tend to be creative and laid back. They have an appreciation for family, art, fashion, travel and design and genuinely care about having their wedding photographed in a sincere and authentic way. Although their details may be thoughtfully planned out, they know the true importance of the day remains is in celebrating each other and their loved ones.

“THE BEST DECISION WE MADE"

We had Sarah shoot our wedding in October and it was the best wedding decision we made. Everyone I show my photos to is SO impressed, we constantly get wonderful comments about them. From the amazing dance floor photos to our gorgeous formals, everything was perfect. We also loved having her at the wedding, she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable from start to finish. Seriously we are so grateful for Sarah and her amazing work and are so lucky she was able to capture our day.

"...IT WAS LIKE MEETING WITH AN OLD FRIEND"

Working with Sarah was a dream! My husband and I had a vision of how we wanted our wedding to be captured...candid, documentary style, raw emotion, and minimal posing...Sarah executed this vision flawlessly and left us with images of our day that give us ALL of the feels when we look through them. When we met with Sarah for the first time, it was like we were meeting up with an old friend. She listened to us, learned about us, and when the big day came, it was like having a friend there to capture the most important day of our lives.

"...THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS SUCH A JOY!"

Sarah shot some amazing promotional portraits for me to use on my blog and I am so so so in love with the results. I didn't quite know what I wanted so I gave her a few inspiration shots/ideas and she worked with me to figure it out. She always has a ton of fun when shooting and makes the whole process such a joy. She recently shot my friend's wedding and totally crushed it. She is so professional and her work is always stunning, no matter what the project is. Thank you Sarah!

FAQ
There are so many options out there, why should we hire you?
Well, first and foremost, I hope that you love my work! + Secondly there is a certain amount of knowledge, skill, and professionalism that can only come from experience. I have been shooting weddings for over 4 years and in almost every situation imaginable. All types of venues, locations, lighting scenarios, weather, and cultures. From torrential downpours to dirty wedding dresses, you can rest assured that I will be your trusted advisor, friend, and confidant from our very first email, to the big day and beyond. I enjoy taking care of the little + not so little things so that you don’t have to. + If you’d like to grab a coffee or a drink to make sure we are the right fit, I would love to meet you! I want to make sure you’re 100% confident that I’m the right photographer for you + that you’ll feel comfortable having me around on such a monumental day in your life.
What type of couples do you consider to be a good fit?
I love working with couple’s who believe that photography is more than just an item on their wedding day checklist.  If you are fueled by adventure, laughter, having fun, following your own path down a windy dirt road and aren’t afraid to get a little messy every now and then, reach out and say hi!
We are so awkward in front of the camera, will you help us pose?
I don’t know a lot of people who feel overly comfortable having their photos taken – myself included.  My approach is to be present and friendly, but not overbearing.  I like to help you pose, but in a way that compliments the natural way you interact as a couple.  Often times you’ll be posing how I want without even realizing it!  This makes for a very easy and fun experience in front of the camera.
Do you shoot anything else besides weddings?
I shoot everything from interiors to lifestyle to fashion, food + beyond – as a full-time photographer I have my feet in many worlds, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Most importantly, I consider myself a storyteller – I tend to think each subject matter informs my work in different ways and makes it stronger as a whole.
Do you travel for your clients?
I thought you’d never ask!! Traveling, aside from photography is my biggest passion in life and any reason to hit the road is reason enough for me!  Anything within 60 miles of my home in Providence, RI is included at no additional cost, anything outside of that area is subject to review and may require an overnight stay at a hotel depending on the distance.  Please don’t hesitate to email if you have any questions or would like a custom travel quote for your photography experience.
Can we have all of the photos you take?
Unfortunately, no.  My work is hugely depending onw hat I choose to show.  Part of what you’re hiring me for is my eye and decision making in what photos create the story of your day.
How many photos can we expect?
Lots!  On average you can expect to receive between 50 – 100 images per hour that I am with you.  For example, on an 8 hour wedding day you can expect between 400 – 800 images in your final delivery.  No worries though, I promise you will be getting the best of the best!
Can we make prints from our digital negatives?
Of course!  I shoot everything digitally and deliver both social media ready files meant for sharing and print ready files, which can be sized up to an 8×10 and printed at your discretion.  Anything larger requires more attention to detail and ap personalized printing process.  Your online gallery makes it easy for you, friends and family to order albums, large prints and more!
How do we book you for your services?
If you know you’d like to work with me the first step is shooting me an email through the contact form!  We’ll be in touch from there and all you’ll have to do is fill out your contract and send along a 50% retainer to book your date!  Everything can be done online to make your life, and mine, that much easier!
