Frank and I decided to travel to North Conway during peak foliage season for a little R+R and some leaf peeping as the tourists call it. Since I grew up in New Hampshire I never really appreciated how amazing the foliage was and we both wanted to make sure that at least once in our lives we took a few days too really appreciate it.
We explored the Kancamangus Highway, a road so familiar yet unknown to me, Frankenstein’s Trestle, Crawford Notch, Echo Lake, White Lake, the famed covered bridges in Jackson and went on a serious hunt for the beef jerky I remember eating as a kid on our family vacations to the area. Needless to say, it was a successful and much-needed trip during the last hurdle of a very busy wedding season in 2017. Sharing these photos makes me super excited for our upcoming adventure, a West Coast road trip that is going to bring us to places like the Grand Canyon, Bonneville Salt Flats, Arches National Park, LA and much much more!
